Best AI for presentations
As of 2026-07-18, Anthropic: Claude Opus 4.8 (Fast) is the strongest model for this task in our daily benchmark, where over 350 AI models are evaluated and the best are presented.
AI is far better at structuring a presentation than at designing one. The value is in the outline, the message per slide and the script — not in the graphics.
For presentations we rank by instruction-following, because a fixed format is what makes the output usable. Ranked by instruction score, from today’s benchmark.

Start with the message, not the slides
Ask the model first for one core message and three points that support it. Then one slide per point, with at most three bullets and one sentence of script for each. Order matters: ask for slides first and you get fifteen slides with no through-line.
What you still have to do yourself
The model does not know your audience, your numbers, or what is actually at stake in the room. It gives you the structure — you supply the concrete examples, and you cut. The first draft is almost always too long.
